Azad International Consulting Planners and Architects, was found in 1988 by Azita Ghafouri as Managing Director and Hosain Sarrafha as Head of the board of Directors,both the main shareholers of the company,in Tehran,Iran.

The idea behind activating such a company is,to preserve the natural forms in architecture through planning and designing "Green" houses, buildings,complexes,cities and urban life. To this day,this purpose has been fulfilled through different projects being designed by "Azad Company".

    [client : Larestan company - 1993-1995] -- The design of this complex was started on sept . 1991. The location is on north part of argentine st. in Tehran, on the Alvand street. The construction started on March 1993 and was finished 1995. The soil mechanic showed the need of grading for 8 M.depth. The civil engineer designed concrete pillars with 12-14 m. depth and 80 cm diameter. The building is 12 storeys which two levels are under ground floor & nine are above. Ground floor is for entrance , information desk & waiting room with some parking lots . eight floors above the ground . each has 240 m2 office area & the ninth floor with less area , gives away to some balconies around the built area . The glass facing is made of threeple 6 mm panels which 2 exterior layers are filled with mica , to give the protection towards explosion . Total area is 3000 m2.

    [client : Mr. Sarrafzadeh - 1997-1998] -- In fall of 1995 , I visited a half – built constraction on the height of “ Rashk Behesht “ area, Aderan , on the main road from karadj to chalus . The construction has been left unfinished since 1970 . The brick building in the square shape with sides 13.5 × 13.5 m was nearly remained Q.K. . Walls were double bircked and sloped roof was built with wooden trestles & bolts & knots junctions were useable . With regard to age of the building which was 25 years old , the bearable walls seemed without any disturbances . The wooden structure of the roof had been safed from sun or rain and were useable also . All the good reasons to start a renovational construction . With extra excavation in the basement corridor . we achieved a bigger space of 130 M2 for building a summer seating room and a kitchen with a terrace and a small pond & shower in open space of 35 m2 . The structure was remodeled by removing the unbearable walls on the west and east of the building and adding from steel colums in the middle to expand the force of ceiling and give away to larger natural lightening . Also to give the better accses to light . central part of the roof was opened up . This villa has 400 m2 built area & 70 m2 balconies & terraces . Construction started in July 1997 and ended fall of 1998.
